Sensor or sensor + remote?
Both versions switch on automatically when the door opens via the supplied sensor. The sensor + remote version adds a handheld remote for manual on/off and speed selection — useful in cafés and clinics where staff want to run the unit continuously during peak hours or lower the speed at quiet times. The price difference is AED 15 across the range.
Mounting height and airflow
Nanyoo FM-series units are rated for a recommended mounting height of 2.3–3 m with air velocity around 10.5 m/s at the outlet. Above 3 m the air stream weakens before it reaches the floor and the seal breaks; see the installation height guide. Airflow rises with width — from 1,480 m³/h on the 0.9 m unit to 3,480 m³/h on the 2.0 m unit.
What to check before buying
- Clear door width and height, and whether the door is single or double.
- Power point near the top of the frame (220–240 V, 50 Hz).
- Exposure to wind — sea-facing shops in Dubai Marina or Fujairah may need a higher-velocity unit.
